'Money Heist' is ending with Season 5

"Money Heist" Part 5 is shaping up to be the gang's final act.

Netflix Philippines confirmed the news on Twitter.

Just this July, series creator Alex Pina announced that he was writing Part 5, four months after Part 4 dropped on Netflix.

Pina revealed to Entertainment Weekly that in the upcoming season, the gang will be trying to avenge the death of their fallen comrade Nariobi (Alba Flores).

"We are moving from a chess game – a mere intellectual strategy – to a war strategy: attack and contention," he was quoted as saying.

Additionally, two new characters will be added for the next season.

Actors Miguel Ángel Silvestre, known for playing Sense8’s Lito, and Patrick Criado are said to be joining the cast.

As for how they fit into the story, Pina only hinted that they "look for characters whose intelligence can measure up against The Professor’s."

Production will begin Monday in Denmark, before filming in Spain and Portugal, the report added.

"Money Heist" is a Spanish series that follows a bunch of red jumpsuit-clad thieves as they pull off heist after heist led by the Professor.
